Typically, Siphonic EWCs have a long and narrow ‘S’ shaped trap way – one end of which opens into the inlet of the bowl and the other end links up with the bowl underneath the drain pipe.

This type of trap way designed with jets to ensure powerful flushing & total waste removal.

A rimless EWC uses a direct flush technique to shoot water around the edge of a smooth pan instead of the water flowing into the bowl through rim. Since there are no flushing rims, no dirt & germs can accumulate ensuring more hygienic solution than traditional EWCs. Rimless EWCs also have enhanced flushing techniques like Swirl (2D), 3D & 4D.
